This is a lovely old heirloom from Long Island with a traditional flat, ribbed shape and climbing prolific vines. They are known for their sweet, smooth flesh. It does well on a trellis or along a fence, and is very prolific in hot summers over 100 degrees.

To plant, simply sow the seeds 1 inch deep in well-drained soil in full sun. Keep the soil consistently moist and watch as these pumpkins thrive and grow. In around 100 days, you can harvest these pumpkins and use them for homemade pies, soups, or decorations.
