These seeds were saved from a thriving purple sage plant in Mantis Planting owner Nisha Maxwell's garden located in the California high desert of Joshua Tree. Purple garden sage is an kitchen herb from the Mediterranean. It is a shortlived perennial that requires only moderate watering once established, loved the high heat of extreme summers over 100 degrees and is generally a beautiful, low maintenance culinary delight.

Plant the seeds in well-draining, fertile soil and expose them to full sun for best results.
